Inkblocks 2

A revolution and rewrite of Inkblocks 1, using more modern practices and less anti-patterns. Included new gamemodes, true dynamic map instancing, extra weapons, and support for more inkable blocks than just White Concrete!

Inkblocks 1

Our initial version of Inkblocks, which also taught us how to program properly in Java. It all started because Nebbie managed to make a stick that fired an explosive snowball when clicked. Who knew how far we'd get.

Where did the name Netrofin come from?

It's an amalgamation of three friend's names; Nebbie, Effie & Tron!

No, like, where did the name originally come from?

Nebbie came up with it when naming a core interchange in an OpenTTD game we were playing. Really, that's it.

How long have you been going for?

We officially formed in May of 2024! Before then, we were just known as the "Inkblocks Development Team", which isn't quite as catchy, personally.

Do you ever intend to do stuff outside of Minecraft?

Maybe one day, but the team is quite comfortable with Java (and by extension, Kotlin), so the desire to do other things is low!

I have a game idea!

Great to hear! Sadly though, we do not accept unsolicited ideas from the community, to protect both ourselves, and you!
